This building was declared World Heritage by Unesco in 1997 and inside it there are concerts of different musical styles, you can visit the Catalan Music Palace without queues thanks to the guided visit that we offer.
The catalan choir ordered in 1904 to the architect Lluís Domenech, one of the best exponents of the catalan modernism, a building to be used as social headquarters. The result was this magnificent and luxury construction.
The ticket with guided visit to the Cataln Music Palace consists in a tour which starts in the same place where was put the first rock of the construction. The rehearsal room of the Catalan Choir, room which still being used nowadays. Afterwards, there is access to the staircase known as the "noble staircase", delicately decorated with floral reliefs.

Two rooms with strong modernist symbology, inspired in details of the nature as the floral-themed columns, everything full of light and colours through its big stained glasses. The Catalan Music Palace is a place of cultural and social life of the city.
Built by the architect Lluís Domenech, forefather of the modernis who from his chair in the Architecture College in Barcelona defined the behaviour patterns of this style in Catalonia, this building is an example of what modernism transmit.
The visit from outside is impressive. Its facade full of components inspired in the nature, its curvy and asymmetrical design... see it from outside is already admiring an artwork. Busts of Bach, Beethoven, the huge mosaic mural...small details perfectly integrated into this composition. However, it is the interior that will captivate you.
The architect wanted to capture the idea of everything becoming impregnated with music, trying to make music trascend beyond stages and rehearsal rooms.
